2022 Jeep Gladiator in Mountain Home, AR
The Jeep brand is one that Mountain Home drivers associate with rugged good looks and outstanding capability. The Jeep Gladiator recently joined the lineup, and it is highly practical. The truck bed of the Gladiator makes it even more versatile, with a longer wheelbase that only adds to its performance ability while off-road. The Gladiator can tackle any type of road condition with ease, and it can also tow a surprising amount of weight around Heber Springs.

Design
The longer wheelbase that makes for improved off-roading also benefits the interior of the Gladiator. In particular, the longer wheelbase means extra legroom for those riding in the rear seats. The iconic Jeep Gladiator offers removable doors and body panels as well as a removable top. You can remove the seats or lock them in place when going off-road. The Jeep truck also offers lots of storage and cubby space, including under-seat storage.
Performance
The base engine in a Jeep Gladiator is a 3.6-liter V6 gas-powered engine that provides drivers with up to 285 horsepower. You can opt for a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic for your trips to West Plains, MO. The base engine provides up to 260 pound-feet of torque performance power.
The optional engine for the Jeep Gladiator is a V6 diesel engine. This engine connects to the eight-speed automatic transmission and delivers up to 442 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower.
When it comes to handling, the Jeep Gladiator is 19.4 inches longer than its cousin, the Wrangler. Many drivers tout the longer wheelbase and its improved handling. The Gladiator's ground clearance makes the vehicle able to ford up to 30 inches of water, so traversing small creeks is no issue with this practical truck. The new Jeep truck can tow between 4,000 and 7,650 pounds around Jonesboro. Its maximum payload is between 1,105 and 1,700 pounds.

Interior & Technology
The interior of the Gladiator is much like that of the Jeep Wrangler. The dashboard is upright, and the floorboards feature materials that you can wash after a day of adventure. The Jeep pickup truck offers a waterproof, push-button start system. Other controls are more traditional, although some are available via the infotainment system.
The new Gladiator's software is the Uconnect® 5 infotainment system. Bluetooth connectivity is standard, as is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The infotainment touchscreen monitors come in multiple sizes, with the largest an 8.4-inch screen in diameter. Upper trim levels offer the option to upgrade the stereo system and add a subwoofer.
Safety Features
While the Jeep Gladiator does offer some standard driver-assist safety features, most of the more coveted safety amenities are standard on upper trim levels only. A backup camera and lane-departure and lane-keeping assists are standard, but blind spot monitoring is only an available option. Rear parking sensors are also optional driver-assist features, and adaptive cruise control is optional only on top trim levels. However, there are available tow and convenience packages that add safety features to the Jeep Gladiator of your choice.
